One of our clients was smart enough to reschedule today’s sessions as they felt what they have may be viral and with respects to others; canceling was the appropriate move. As I now have a few minutes, I want to remind everyone that we are in cold and flu season. This includes sore throats and even strep. I have been blessed that a rarely get sick and I want to share with you methods that I practice that I believe contribute to that strength.
First of all, when we are in public we are exposed to everything that’s is around us. On top of that when I’m out I’m usually shaking hands a lot. I make it a mission to wash my hands before I dine at restaurants. As I exit the restroom I also get an extra paper towel and use it over the doorknob, as unfortunately some people don’t even was their hands after the use the restroom. This opens up a whole other set of bacterial problems. In some restaurants they have positioned an additional trash can at the bathroom exit door. You can test your basketball skills by shooting this paper ball into the can as your foot holds the door. If it’s too long distant take it to the table and the waiter will dispose of.
When I go to the grocery store I get one of the sterilization napkins that they provide in a dispenser in the front of store and I wipe down the grocery basket handle and at that same time give my cell phone a good washing.
When I exit stores in general if it’s a door that pushes outward I use my body and back into and gently open the door.
Artists have to stay well – getting sick on the road or radio tour could have heavy consequences to the career. I realize sometime this can’t be helped, but with proper feeding of the body and using intelligence and preventative measures; you can eliminate a good portion of the bacterial attack.

I take daily D3 (2000IU), C 1000iU.
I make a cocktail of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar (2 TBSpoons), 1 Lemon, and 12 oz of water and drink every morning.
Remember, I’m also on airplanes a lot and this is an incubator for viral diseases. This mixture does several things, it boosts the immune system. Gives you cleansing, energizes your metabolism (this combined with exercise also excels the fat burn) and hydrates the body after a night of sleep.
